Gary Neville confirmed as part of ITV's World Cup team

Gary Neville is joining ITV Sport for the summer as part of the broadcaster's World Cup coverage.

Sky are allowing Neville - who was previously part of the England coaching set-up under Roy Hodgson - to work for ITV in Russia.

ITV will share coverage of the tournament with the BBC, and have so far nabbed the opening match between Russia and Saudi Arabia on June 14 along with England's opening group game against Belgium.

Matches will air on ITV and ITV4 with Mark Pougatch ITV's main anchor with Neville joining ITV's regular pundits Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Lee Dixon.

ITV's coverage will be presented from a studio overlooking St Basil's Cathedral in Red Square in Moscow.
